How to use the Partner Pairing Wheel

Letting people choose partners produces the same pairs every time and leaves someone unchosen. Spinning removes both problems, and mixed pairings usually produce better work than comfortable ones.

  • Spin two names in a row with Elimination mode on — that is your first pair.
  • With an odd number, decide in advance who forms a three rather than deciding at the end.
  • Keep a record so you can deliberately avoid repeating pairs next time.
