How to use the Group Generator
Spin once per student and read off the group they land on. The advantage over letting students pick is not speed — it is that the same three people stop working together every single time, and nobody is left waiting to be chosen last.
- Accumulation mode builds the groups up on screen as you go, so students can see where everyone landed.
- For groups of a fixed size, remove a group from the wheel once it is full so the rest fill evenly.
- Rename the segments to the actual task — "Poster", "Presentation", "Research" — and you assign group and job in one spin.
